 My son and I were just sitting down to dinner when the glanced out the living room window. Parked outside was the Fedex truck. My heart stated to beat faster and as I tried to calm myself I stood by the door waiting for the Fedex man to knock. Then the engine started up and he quickly pulled away....lol oh well....maybe another day lol...keeping my hopes high.!! Good one on me lolol.

better go peek outside your door (and in bushes, under mats etc) as they have been known to just leave things in strange places and never knock....)

lol awww that sounds like me. I go to my mailbox at least 5 times a day. Good thing its connected to my house. (I live in an old neighborhood)

That was so fummy , and know I feel the same way everytime I see a FED EX truck or UPS my heart skips a beat but nothing nothing has come my way in a while !!!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

 ty chew and I'll do the same for you. It got me good yesterday so I've decided to sit back and just let it all come to me....that is after I've entered my zillion sweeps every day

I know the feeling. The other day a car pulled into my driveway and two young pretty girls got out with an envelope in their hands and a man with a large television camera also got out with them. They took a few minutes to get to the door...but my heart was in my throat...what did I win? what did I win?!?? I was thinking about all the 'big' promotions that I had entered that would warrant a TV camera...but when they got to the door, they just wanted me to vote for Obama (I'm in NH and the primary is today). I felt REALLY stupid for getting my hopes up!

  OMG! I would have thought it was Publisher's Clearing House! What a BIG letdown.

I would have hit the ground, that suspense would have killed me. My heart would have been able to take it.
