congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 email addresses. the one i use for contests. doesn't have a bulk or spam, so everything goes into one folder. i get emails from the places that i forget to uncheck the box.
but the only problem i have is from the "lottery" emails that say "Congratulations! you've won the british lottery or the irish lottery". for the past month and a half I have been receiving at least 5 to 7 a day. and also been getting garbage emails that say " we'd like you to be our agent on be half of our company (always in some other country) and they will compensate you if you help.
I wonder which contest i entered a while ago, that gave out my email address to these annoying people??
what are your thoughts on this situation?
