Bluegreen sweeps

A lady called and said she was from bluegreensweeps.com and that I won a $50 Visa gift card and four roundtrip airline tickets paid in full. I didn't get the message till after 6pm and was told all I have to do is call to claim my prize. Is this for real or one of those timeshare scams. Gosh I hope it's for real. I can't wait to call in the morning!!!!
 
On thier site at the bottom it says:

The sweepstakes on that page doesn't end until 02/28/09. Seems like a timeshare to me. :hammer:
 
I think I agree. Sorry. Unless of course you don't mind sitting through the presentation for the tickets.
 
I hate to tell you this, but you will have to attend a nice meeting . I did. If you go weekdays I think the visa is more than weekends. Plan on 2 hours. You will not have to buy their timeshare, but the tickets are based on you must stay at on of their resorts if you use tickets. I still have mine. Do't get me wrong the resorts are nice, but you do have to stay in resort, at least I did
 
I have friends that plan extra time into their vacations to stay at timeshares to get free hotels, theme park tickets, and free food. They love to do it. They go to the mountains and spend a couple of days just messing with the people to get the free stuff. They went a couple of years ago, stayed for a week and was out less than a couple hundred dollars! Not bad for going to the Smokys, hotel, Dollywood, the Aquarium, and their food!!

Congrats! I had a similar experience with bluegreen a few years back and had to sit through at least a 2 hour presentation.
 
Well I called today and yes it was a time share deal. With a newborn who is colic it will be impossible for me to drive 3 hours to where the timeshare video is. Thank you for the congrats and I haven't lost my hope in winning something big.
