I had a call yesterday from a lady saying she was from the regan group for the sweepstakes NBC celebrity turbo tax sweepstakes saying that I won $25,000 second drawing prize. I know that the sweeps is legit but not sure about the regan group. the phone number and stuff does go back to the name of this group but can't find anything that connects it to this sweepstakes. I posted this on the question and answer page and a kind soul googled it and thought it was legit. Is there anyone else out there that knows anything about the regan group? I really don't know what to do, or how to find out absolutely for sure that it's not a scam. Really hope it's legit. any thoughts would be very much appreciated. I have a very limited time to get the papers in. This would be wonderful if it's legit. my son will be starting college this june and this would really go a good ways in paying for college.
 
Woo Hoo :blob: Congrats! Everything that I've found is that Regan is a prize fulfillment center. So it sounds like either NBC or Interpoll hired them as the fulfillment center. Make sure you send in the affy by the end date they gave you. If they are asking you for money or anything like that then it's not legit. Congrats again and Good Luck to your son starting college.
 
Well, in my opinion it's a legit win. I went to their website and it looks legit to me...they fulfill sweepstakes promotions for clients. Congratulations! :headbang:
 
The sweeps is legit, and The Regan Group is a fulfillment agency, and you are looking for a link to connect them...

I did a few searches, found the sweeps listing, the rules, The Regan Group's home page, as I'm sure you did. I searched The Regan Group's website and clicked on "Clients" and found the NBC logo among them:

Found this in the Rules, so make sure you return your affidavit within 3 days:
Under the Winner Notification section, "...Potential Winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release ("Affidavit and Release") and Publicity Release (where legal) within three (3) days of date of attempted delivery. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification..."

cuddlebearj, funny you mentioned a heart attack. I was just sitting here thinking that my heart has been beating funny since I got the call. I haven't been able to sleep at all since yesterday. I searched for the regan group everyway possible other than getting on a plane and finding their building. It does seem legit, just can't really believe it. thanks for everyones help in trying to find it for me, your all great! Not going to count my chickens before they hatch though, until I have a check in hand. I've been notified a couple of times before and then told it was a mistake. Nothing this big though. I'm going to the bank in a few minutes to get the papers notarized. Just in time to start paying college tuition for my son, what a relief this is. :cheers: :sunny:
