Has anyone here ever won a BHG Sweepstakes (et all) sweeps? Either one of the daily entries or one of the longer $10k, $15k, $25k ones?
You would think with multiple Daily prizes the odds would be that SOMEONE here has won something! But I've never seen it happen.since 1986 I've been trying for this and zero just that they try to send magazines.\\
Hopefully one person can confirm
Thank you for sharing.I win about one daily prize a year from them. The last thing I won last year was a bread machine, but they offered to send me a $100 Amazon digital gift card instead, so I chose that. You know, with any daily entry site like this, it's sort of like playing slot machines. For me personally, if I don't win within in a certain amount of time, I move on to another machine until it feels right. The same applies to sweeps. I've won several times from Leite Culinaria but never from Steamy Kitchen, so I gave up Steamy Kitchen as a waste of time. My ROI, or rather my return on my invested time has to be valuable enough to continue. So yes, even when they show me the same AD everyday, I take a few minutes to enter.
Thats a really good analogy! For now, they are easy enough for me to enter and I'm glad you win from the occasionally! I also gave up Steamy KitchenI win about one daily prize a year from them. I wonder that too. OF course, I wonder that about a lot of sweeps, like Wheel of Fortune giveaways. I mean, how many wheel watchers are there in the U.S. and of that amount, how many actually enter regularly. It's got to be a smaller pool of entrants than most sweeps, but then, who knows? I've yet to win Wheel, but I know I will eventually. As far as BHG, I think the same thing. How many people could possibly be entering them every single day? Let's say 50,000. That may seem like a lot, but not really. Entries obviously fluctuate. I don't enter every item they're giving away each day and other people probably don't either. Hearst magazines publishes all of the magazines having the giveaways and each one usually gives away a different prize each day, so I would think it's still a good bet and a return on the investment.I really appreciate the conversation. Just the other day, I was asking myself the exact same question. I enter these sweeps daily. The odds are a prize would have happened at some period of time! I am always curious how many people enter which sweepstakes. I'm glad to hear that there are winners here. It gives me hope.![]()
In all my years of sweeping, I've only been told about the numbers once. Years ago, I won a very large prize from a major magazine and the contact person told me that there were over 1 million entries and only 1 winner! Those were incredible odds! But, I would expect a huge amount of entries for a large prize. For the smaller prizes, like the daily BHG magazine ones, I would imagine the number of entries are much smaller. The things I think about during dry spells. LOL!I wonder that too. OF course, I wonder that about a lot of sweeps, like Wheel of Fortune giveaways.
