Beware of Charges

I just found out that a company by the name of ILP is charging my AT&T phone bill each month for $14.95, since last March. I called to ask who they were, what services they offer, and why they were billing my account. They said my husband had signed up for a contest back in March and inadverantly signed up for the service. They would credit my account for the past three months charges.

Please look at your telephone bills and see if there are charges from ILP/Voice Prof. Svcs. If there are, you can call the number listed next to their name and cancel the service and get reimbursed some if not all of the charges.

Thanks! I have heard of this and forgot...I need to check mine that I just paid!

Thanks again for the heads up!

Thanks for the heads up.. I have AT&T also but my bill is the same every month so I dont guess that charge is on there.. I should look though huh  just checked. im good. :headbang:

Since that would double my bill, I would certainly notice!

It's a good idea, even with auto pay, to keep a simple spreadsheet printout for your bills. Twice a month (or each week or once a month, depending on your system), fill in the recent bills, including any you pay yourself. Check your bank account or credit card website for the ones that auto pay. This way you will know that no bill is missed, or late, or changes price.

Feel free to PM me for an example of the Excel spreadsheet that we use. I regularly help people with budgets and organization of finances and am happy to do it for any of my SA "friends" who ask.
