Ok has anyone had problems using these? I went to target and tried to use mine and they wouldnt accept it, not only that they did try to run it through and on the back where the store information is usually printed by their machine it says do not accept, so i couldnt even use it anywhere else because it typed that on the back. I was pretty upset by that. My mom gave me the check that she had won so i tried to use it at kmart, walmart, superwalmart, and then meijer. Well i have given up. Meijer pulled out a photocopy of the entire sheet with counterfeit written on it and needless to say i argued with them telling them it wasnt. I lost. I got so angry i just crumpled it up an threw it away.I did locate a number for bumble bee to let them know that this occured and that they might need to discuss this with the prize fulfilment company and figure out a different method of prizes like maybe gift cards instead of these useless checks.Well since i just called bumble bee i guess i will let you know what they said later.Thanks for letting me vent even though i probably put this in the wrong forum spot lol.

Wow that was quick . Bumble bee called back within five minutes. Anyways he told me the stores listed on the back were contractually obligated to take these checks. I guess the managers of the stores were not very quick about letting the stores know this. I did tell him that for future promotions (which he said another was coming up soon) that they might try gift cards or something other than these checks to avoid situations like this. Anyways, it was the stores who dropped the ball not bumble bee. He did say however that they were unaware of this problem and that no one has contacted them about any issues with these checks and that they would contact the retailers listed that wouldnt accept them and let them know they are under contract to do so. Well now i feel better LOL.
I used mine at Target (I had two $25 ones), but it wasn't easy. The cashier had no idea what they were, and I told her to get the manager. The manager came over and was confused. I handed her the paper that the checks were attached to and she still seemed confused. I told her they were actual checks and the paper said to enter them as traveler's checks. Then she said I could only use one at a time (even though my purchase was for over $75. I said, no, I can use them both. At any rate, I agree, it was a huge hassle. It seems it would be easier for them to send real checks, or gift cards. The stores have no idea what these are.
