I've been thinking about this. Should you not put your name in several different ways?

For instance:

Jane Doe + IL + Winner
Jane D. + IL + Winner
Jane D + IL + Winner

Been doing this and on some family members to see if they are in the news for anything. I never got a winners google on myself tho as a winner on anything so maybe adding winner and state will help. I have been bookmarking contest that say check back for winners as I do not think those appear as I have won from Womans Day and never got an email alert for it. Sometimes I think if it is embedded it will not find it but maybe adding winner will help. Will it still pull up if the list says First name and then last initial or should I add that also as an alert?

I tried to enter my info and since I use roboform (the free one) I can just use that search bar in the same manner and it worked too. It showed 5 wins that I had posted as wanting to sell or trade w/the links from S.A. not sure if that is exactly the same thing...

If you put your name in quotes it shouldn't send you alerts for Papa Murphy unless your first name is Papa. LOL.

Type info as:

"Jane Doe" + OH + winner

instead of

Jane Doe + OH + winner

Thank you so much for this... I have been a member of various forums for my various interests, but this forum is absolutely wonderful. I have never "met" nicer more helpful people. :sunny:

Thank you, I have a really bizarre last name so all I had to put was my last name. And bonus I get to snoop on my extended family.

And I get them every time a Judge makes a court decision. I have an alert set up for both myself and my hubby but have yet to get a notice about anything that actually pertains to one of us. But I do agree ... if you have an uncommon name it would be great!

Worth a try. I did a search...and all I got was some entries of mine for contest submissions! LOL :cry:
