Anyone with experience winning from Circuit City?

I just received a google alert that directed me to Circuit City's online winner's list.

It looks like I won an Ipod touch on 02/14/08. However, I have not heard from them regarding this. I cannot find the sweep in the expired listings, and I do not know what they usually do or how to contact them to check on this.

From the rules in the current sweep, they say they do not post a winner until they have confirmed. I suppose it could be another person in the same city with the same first name and inital... I just hate to blow it off without checking on it.

Anyone have any ideas?

I am glad to know that my experience with them is not unique. I actually called their 1-800 number this weekend just to see if their customer service could give me some sort of contact info for their sweeps, or knew anything about how they do things. She said the e-mail addy for sweeps is [email protected], but had no access to any info about them.

I think I am going to give it a little while, then e-mail them if nothing materializes. That, and keep my fingers and toes crossed! :laughing:

Just wanted to update: I posted more detail about this in the winner's list post I made about Circuit City.

I e-mailed [email protected], and I didn't win, it was someone else in my city with the same name and last initial. D'oh!!! :crazytongue:

However, as a silver lining, I did find out that the man who runs their sweeps is really nice, polite, and extremely quick to respond to any inquiries. I mean like 10 minutes or less quick! :headbang:
