Anyone win something with no upgrade membership?

I am new at this and have only entered a few contests so far.
Is everyone who wins something big an upgraded full member?
Not interested in small prizes of things that I would not use.
If you pay $60. then you need to win that much in prizes to break even.
 
No, not everyone who wins a large prize is a paid member. We have many successful free members who have won vehicles and large cash prizes. You can go check them out in the winners circle forum. Remember, a paid subscription does not guarantee you a win. Those who enter the most sweepstakes and vary their chances (amongst all types of prizes) win most frequently. A paid subscription gives you more tools to organize and keep track of the sweepstakes you enter and grants you access to a handful of extra sweepstakes categories that our editors work hard to produce.

Sweepstakes with big prizes are of course the most coveted, which means many more people enter to win. With a much larger pool of participants, your odds of winning are lower than, say, winning a selection of products from a small business. At the end of the day, it's a game of odds!
 
Okay but membership is needed to enter all state contests?

I would prefer emails about once a week, not every day. Is this possible?

Correct, state-specific contest categories are accessible through a plus membership.

At this time it is not possible to reduce the frequency of the newsletter.
