Just got an email from www.bellafigurausa.com. Entered to win an italian ceramic vase and the email said that an winner email would be sent out by 12noon on monday and the winner had until 1pm to claim the prize. Never heard such a time restriction have any of you?

Received a second email and YES it is just ONE HOUR to claim your prize lolol....guess this leaves me out since I get out of work at noon and get home at 1:15pm.

I'm confused! They sent you another email giving you another hour again?

No they choose another winner if you don't respond during that hour. I emailed them regarding this unfair process and here is their response

Dear Anikka,

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate your concern. We came to the decision on "how to notify" after considering several different scenarios. Customer feedback informed us that a majority of people check their personal email while they are working. And in order to make checking quick and easy, we set the specific time.

We appreciate your feedback. We carefully consider all comments and suggestions in order to improve our service and procedures.

Sincerely,

Kay - Customer Service

i know i need to respond stating that many people can't check their email at work (for me it's blocked) or simply choose not to because it's unprofessional. Also not everyone works at or with a computer. I think a window of at least six hours including several hours that are after business hours (in all time zones) is needed to be remotely fair. I realize that it's nearly impossible to cater to everyone's needs but i don't think a window of an hour is fair to anyone involved.

Most sweeps sponsors use their marketing $$$ for sweeps, to garner more customers/get repeat business, and they would probably LOVE to impose even stricter limits to ensure only customers/potential customers would enter, so that's odd, but as long as they are within the law governing sweeps in their state, they are allowed to put limits.

That's good info that needs to be in the listing/comments to let others know - I know I'd skip this one just like I do the ones where you HAVE to answer the phone!!!

Actually, they did send me a second email last saturday....can't imagine why.....but this is a good sweep to skip and thank to ANIKKA for letting them know how unfair their rules are to a great many of us.
