Anyone else crazy like me?

These darn Fed Ex alerts are makig me crazy. I won a $200 ticketmaster GC from Sierra Mist in Sept.
Per rules, I should have recieved it by last week at the latest. So today I get a fed ex alert-

From Pepsi
.5 lbs envalope
Direct signature required
Overnight delivery

I know darn well what it is, but I have this crazy thought like
"What if??"
"Why would they overnight it if they have had since Sept."
blah blah balh
I know better- It's the giftcard. The alerts just make me crazy lol! Anyone else- or do I need to seek help? :-)
 
Sorry I am not crazy like you. In fact my crazy is so different I am going to take out a patent on it.

However I know what you mean on the alerts. Today I received 3 emails from UPS. The first was to tell me that a package I had signed for two hours earlier had been delivered. The second one told me another package had been delivered. Yep came same time as the first one could you not have sent just one email?

The third one told me a package was coming tomorrow 11.05 LBS from Hill. I reckon this must be the 10 LBS of cat food I won but maybe someone else named Hill was sending me something. LOL

I guess we all have our individual crazies, and some we share with others. Is that a sane comment? Makes sense to me.

About the $200 Ticketmaster GC - even if you won in Sept., it could be sent by overnight, because some sweeps wait until the sweeps has ended, then send out the prizes 6 to 8 weeks later. Don't know the rules for the one you won from so, maybe it is the GC (.5 lbs), or maybe something else. Let us know! :cool:

---I think you should patent that statement, Bruce, it's great! But I don't think it reflects your craziness because you are the recipient. The craziness is on the sender's end, lack of communication, timing...and yes, it could make you crazy. :)


So, would you both rather not have alerts? I don't have any. That is why I am sane.
 
Well, it wasn't the $200 gift card (which said 6-8 weeks after notification, has been almost 10!) It was my $500 GC I won from Bud Light Sweepstakes. I was contacted by Bud light anyway, but the gift card came from pepsi. Either way, I am pleased! (and still a bit crazy!)
 
Wow, that's a big gift card. The Bud - Pepsi connection would be confusing.

I actually completely agree with you. Im the same kind of crazy anytime something comes that requires a signature ... I get all keyed up just knowing that its paperwork for a trip and of course it isn't its just something I'm expecting. I agree that the fed ex and ups alerts are making me a little nutty. While on the trip that I won I checked fed ex and found out they had delivered a package while we were gone. I'm hundreds if not thousands of miles away freaking out because I have a package in front of my door and it could be anything and I hope the neighbors don't steal it. It ended up being 1/2 pound of reese's pieces I had won and my neighbors were nice enough not to steal it.

Too funny!! I actually have a .5 lb Fedex envelope coming on Monday. I am not expecting anything that I can think of, and I have searched for 2 days. Can not figure out what it might be. It has consumed my weekend, and will probably wind up being a coupon or something. :-)
