I won 2 movie tickets from the Nestle Battleship game, and opened the email again to see how long I had to claim these. I clicked on the claim link and it brought up a page saying the promotion was over. I went back to the email and noticed this:
"You will need the authorization code below to access the prize claim page. You can only access the prize claim page once and must complete the required information at that time or your prize will be forfeited."
Well, I clicked on the claim link when I first received the email and closed out of it, and figured I would fill it out when we were actually ready to go to the movies. It appears that by doing that I have voided this win. I had won tickets before from similar contests and the claim process did not have this restriction.
Just a reminder to read your winning emails carefully, and watch for details that may cause you to lose out on the prize. I am disappointed that I lost this, but hopefully this is a lesson that will keep me from messing up on something bigger later.
