Stupid FB doesn't even tell you when you have a message in Other...what's the point of that anyway?? I just happened to stumble across it. Grrrr.
 
Sorry for your win/loss. This was mentioned in the forum some months ago. I have found several wins in the "Other" mailbox. If you aren't a friend of the person that you are sending a message to, the new Facebook fee to have it delivered to the regular inbox is $5.00! It was $1.00 the first of the year but they recently increased it. At least now you know that it is there and will be checking. That remminds me, I haven't checked mine for a couple days!
 
Yes, I too am so sorry about your loss, that is SO not fun :( AND thanks for the reminder. I am usually pretty good about checking the 'other' box but haven't for a while. Another FB issue...I have been sort of lurking on a conversation about sweeps elsewhere and someone mentioned that some facebook sweeps require you to actually look at their page to see if you are a winner? Has anyone else heard anything like that? There is no way I can even remember half of what I've entered, let alone check every day to see if I've won! Without an email/phone I will miss out on those wins.

Check the rules/entry page for FB sweeps - I skip ones that require me to follow up
