Amazon

Saw people had been having luck with these so been trying to enter randomly when getting ready for bed and finally lucked out. Won a 3-in-1 grill brush. Looks like it will be much better than the cheap brush I bought.

I personally am tired of the boards flooded with these "amazon", not really sweeps. I guess Amazon made it possible for people to create sweeps and now there are so many to sift through.

What is your definition of a sweepstake +traveldreamer? Most sweepstakes are about promoting their brand and reaching out to a growing audience. These Amazon giveaways aren't much different from the Blog entry ones, except you generally only have to follow 1 account or watch 1 video for a chance. Also, I've seen some that a winner is selected after a set amount of time instead of instant, so there's an actual drawing just like regular sweeps.

I enter when I'm bored and only click on items I'd be interested in winning. On my SA entries, I simply skip over any of them that say Amazon. I do wish they'd re-categorize Amazon sweeps, but it doesn't take much time to scroll past. Everyone has different preferences on entering sweepstakes, which is fine. I don't know that jumping on a winners circle thread just to say how much you hate that style of entry is very friendly to the community, though.

I suppose what could help is if people could make their thread titles a bit more specific - simply posting "Amazon" in the title doesn't really tell people much. Not sure how or if they would want to enforce that, though.
