I won from Omaze two months in a row! I was a finalist last month for the Camper Van giveaway, but ended up winning a Bluetooth speaker instead. Since it was a lesser prize, I was still eligible for a grand prize. Last week, I was about to empty my junk folder when I saw an email from Omaze indicating I was a potential winner. I replied right away and had to set up an interview and completed all of that right away. I loved the fact that all paperwork could be done on-line. It was so quick and easy. I’m so used to having to go to the bank to have prize wins notarized, so this was a pleasant surprise. I ended up winning the trip to New York City and a $10K shopping spree at Bloomingdale’s. I have donated to several campaigns in the past, (especially if I really wanted to win the prize), but I did not donate for this one and truth be told, I think I only entered it five times or less, so it really does only take one entry to win. I didn’t even know that it included a trip until they told me as it just wasn’t on my win radar. Still, while it wasn’t on my win radar, I am very grateful to have won this and look forward to it.
I used to enter Omaze giveaways two years ago, but found them to be too time consuming, so I stopped. I only recently started to enter them again after seeing winner's stories and after only a few months I've already won! Now I’m going to miss entering them since I have to wait until July of 2021 before entering again due to their 18 months between wins rule.
