OK, question, did anyone else get a call that they were a grand prize winner?? I just wanted to make sure. I get a call that said I was the potential grand prize winner of the 150,000 and that I'll need to fill out the forms and get it notarized within 5 days and also a criminal background check, is this normal?? the background check I mean??
I'm just beside myself right now. I hope this is for real!!!! Did anyone win this instant even??

background check is normal for some companies when dealing with large sum prizes. :popcorn:
 
Sweepstakes Random Drawings: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The random drawing will be conducted on/about 6:00 p.m. EST on 9/23/08 by Administrator whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Promotion.

Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by e-mail, phone and/or mail. Failure to respond to the initial verification e-mail within 5 business days after notification or return of e-mail notification as undeliverable after 2 attempts will result in disqualification. Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return within 5 business days of notification an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification, and a Publicity Release where allowed by law. If the Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification and Publicity Release is not returned to Sponsor within specified time period, potential Grand Prize winner may be disqualified. If Grand Prize winner is disqualified for any reason, Grand Prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected from all remaining eligible entries received.

OMG, the sweep JUST ended! If you are in fact the winner, congrats!! They did say you have to pass a background check.

While everybody else is passing along their 'congrats' to missmichelle17, as I have; I thought I would have a little fun at her expense since I am a sore loser and I'm sure they meant to call me instead! :cry:

I am getting the papers notarized tomorrow. I didn't realize the criminal check was standard with some companies...just seemed iffy at first but it is in the official rules. I will believe this more when the check is in my hand, lol. I am still in complete shock!!!!!!!Am I missing the smiley that is passing out from shock :laughing:
I'm not sure of exact plans just yet :popcorn:
