I was just notified that I won the Grand Prize in the Peter Greenberg Worldwide Summer Sweepstakes -- a full week at the Villa del Palma Resort & Spa in Islands of Loreto, Mexico, with airfare from LAX. Fortunately, I had earlier won enough frequent flyer miles from Delta so we can fly free into LAX, too. This will be our Winter vacation break.

Also, a few days ago, I received a very nice prize from Saveur.com -- an Italian food basket full of whole grain pastas, sauces, olive oil, etc. They said it was worth $100, but I swear it looked like twice that much to me.
