Sooo, this week started out on the right foot. Monday morning I rec'd an email from LanceSnacks - Bolds Fuel You Sweepstakes saying I was the weekly 1st place winner for this period. I had a choice of BMX bike, custom skateboard or Sbyke (all as sponsor chosen gift codes for $300). I chose the bike, hoping it's for a generic place like Toys R Us or Amazon/Target. My daughter already has a new bike and has no "need " for the other 2 items. She will probably be the recipient in the end, anyway!
Then I won a cork wallet (husband got to pick it) from havok-designs.com giveaway. They will custom make it for him this week and send it out. Very nice guy who owns the company and cool stuff on their site.
I got the "winning" screen from the Coffee Beanery "Blended" IW game with a message that I will be contacted in 2-4 days to collect my prize with no information on what it was. Well, that was Tuesday and I haven't heard a thing from them yet. Seeing it's the weekend and Monday is a holiday I am guessing I won't hear anything until Tuesday. Hopefully, the fact I didn't get told on the "winning" screen means it's the BIG prize! I can dream, can't I?
The same day I was an instant winner in the Burt's Bees IW. When the verification screen came up to verify by text or phone call, I realized I put in the wrong last digits on the ph#and so could NOT verify it. I sent a message to them but, again, have not heard back. If they don't honor it I can't be mad because it was my silly error that kept me from being able to verify. I hope they will though!
