UPDATE concerning rejected e-gift codes

I'll let the following speak for itself - they corrected the missing last 3 digits ... it's really weird a company like this would compound
the initial error by sending EVERYONE a notice that they're getting a $300 e-gift card code when it's only what you were supposed to
get in the original email with the bad code. I just verified that my $80 is indeed now valid as the code checked out.

Thanks for letting us know, well I got first one for $85 so still get to eat a few times, but sure was excited when thought got $300, lol, but hey free is free:)

The worst part of the screw up is that you already told your family about the upgrade only to find out it's not true! Oh well...free is free :D

Yw, but be sure to use those But-One-Get-One-Free or reduced cost coupons (that at least I get in the mail every few weeks) that BK distributes. You can double the amount of food you get from BK because you can use physical coupons in addition to these e-gift codes. I know because I've done it in the past. :D

p.s. Most Burger Kings will accept expired coupons - here's a site that verifies this and it has been my personal experience as well (I don't tell them they're expired and they never ask nor check): https://www.wisebread.com/4-coupon-rules-that-stores-let-you-break

Most Burger King locations will still accept your expired coupon. As a matter of fact, because the unofficial policy is to take all coupons, many employees won't even glance at the expiration date when giving you your discount.

they sent out emails with corrected codes yesterday, you can check the balances on the bk website. They aren't worth 300 like the email states though they are worth what you originally won. I wasn't able to get on here last night to put info on this thread I had put info on the other threads I had commented on just hadn't made in on to get on this one yet. I havent been to bk to use it yet(but the balance is valid I checked) my local store wouldn't put it on a plastic card they said they didn't know how. I called the number in the email and they said they can do it not in store apparently you have to email to have it taken care of I couldn't really understand the lady that I spoke with on the phone it kept cutting out so I will have to call back later to find out out how to get it done for sure
