Not getting email notifications

Private messages and replies to posts are usually sent to my email..I even made sure this was enabled on the general settings options.But I still don't get the emails.I have to keep checking my notifications on the site.
 
I have not been getting any e-mails from here, how do you know if you win anything? Karen Richardson

Let's clarify!

We are talking about email from SA/SP, not about winner notifications from sponsors. For example, some members select their settings to get an email every time they receive a PM from another member of SA/SP.

This is not the same thing as getting an email notice to inform you that you won a sweeps. That type of email comes directly from the sponsor running the sweeps. (Remember, SA/SP only lists the sweeps. It does not run the sweeps and does not know who the winners are.) Now, totally aside from that, there are occasional sweeps, not regularly, here on SA/SP. For those you would receive an email. An example would be the Member Sweepstakes happening now. Winners are usually notified via PM. Here's the link if you are interested:
