XP Antispyware 2012 virus

I picked this up today while entering sweeps. the last site I was at before it showed up was EZWin. Using an old laptop now to try to figure out how to get rid of this. This virus blocks access to internet, and my Mcafee virus protection which did not catch it. be careful!
 
My son got my old laptop infected a few days ago & said it's a really nasty one!!!

btw - he wasn't sweeping, he was doing his music stuff.
 
As soon as I saw "XP Antispyware 2012 virus" I knew it wasn't going to be good. Hopefully this isn't going to be one of those times when you just have to break out your Windows CD and blow everything away with a full system restore. :cussing:

I'm afraid so - only problem? The backlight went out so he has it set up thru his TV and he can't do it he says. I figure he messed it up, and since I spent my 1st few years online learning how to protect the comp and clean up his messes, it's on him!!! :crazytongue:
